The rough cotton is hand-dyed and softened using leaves and marked with clay to reveal beautiful white shapes before being stitched together by hand. The process takes up to four weeks; more than worth the wait for such a unique item.

Hand dyed in strips and sewn using traditional methods.

Natural dying process using leaves and clay.

Made from scratch by hand from 100% cotton.

The symbols, patterns and colours are open to interpretation and often contain African proverbs and hidden meanings.
