Overlooking the beautiful shores of Chouet Bay in Guernsey, Vraic is a Michelin-starred restaurant where exceptional food, thoughtful design and a deep connection to nature come together.
Led by acclaimed chef Nathan Davies, Vraic was awarded its first Michelin star just seven months after opening. Quite an achievement, and a reflection of the passion, creativity and extraordinary attention to detail behind this intimate coastal restaurant.
Inspired by Land and Sea
Taking its name from the Guernésiais word for seaweed, Vraic celebrates the natural abundance of its island home.
Working closely with local fishermen, farmers and foragers, the team creates an ever-changing tasting menu inspired by the seasons. Ingredients are treated with care, with open-fire cooking, bold flavours and a philosophy centred around working with nature and minimising waste.
From seaweed-inspired chandeliers and artwork to natural materials and beautifully considered interiors, every element tells a story of its surroundings. Even the hand soap incorporates locally foraged seaweed. A rather wonderful detail, we think.
Thoughtful Details, Beautifully Considered
At Kuishi, we believe the smallest details can make a lasting impression. So when we had the opportunity to create bespoke soap dispensers for Vraic, it felt like a natural fit.
Using our organic ceramic printing process, we created custom-branded glass dispensers for the restaurant's bathrooms, designed to sit beautifully within the carefully considered interiors.
A subtle finishing touch, but one that carries the restaurant's distinctive identity into another part of the guest experience.
After all, when every ingredient, texture and finishing touch has been so thoughtfully chosen, even the humble soap dispenser deserves a little attention.

What we particularly admire about Vraic is its ability to make everything feel connected. From the food on the plate to the materials throughout the space, every detail reflects a thoughtful approach to craftsmanship, nature and beautiful design.
We're incredibly proud to have contributed a small detail to such an inspiring space and to celebrate a restaurant bringing something truly exceptional to Guernsey.
