Starbucks Reserve Roastery - Milan

A coffee shop like no other

The Roastery in Milan is unlike any other retail establishment or cafe you may have previously visited.

Its one of eight super roasterie's and was converted in 2018, it occupies 25,000 square feet of the historic Poste building in Piazza Cordusio, and it boasts a Roastery, bar, wood-fired oven, and an augmented reality wall. By staying faithful to the building's architecture and classical Italian style, the architects and designers have produced a coffee experience that is nothing short of amazing.

How did the designers create a fitting bathroom experience?

Bathrooms are one part of a building that rarely gets pictured and is therefore often forgotten. This time around, designers have given customers a truly splendid bathroom space.

Since the Milan cafe is widely considered to house one of the world's most aesthetically pleasing cafés, it follows that the bathrooms are as well.

To keep with the industrial aesthetic, designers cleverly used custom copper piping for the taps. Rather than opt for mounting soap dispensers on a wall they chose to create custom fittings to secure them over a large central stone sink.

Why did StarBucks choose Kuishi dispensers?

Designer chose our most popular and simple amber glass soap dispenser with a black stainless steel pump. The interior designer on the project said

As soon as we received the samples we knew we had found the right dispenser. Its simple, but beautiful and fitted in well to the bathrooms we designed. It simply was the best quality!
