How to Make A Natural Salt Spray For Beachy Waves
Making your own natural salt spray is so easy and gives great results! Making your own products is a such a good way for using beauty products as you know the exact ingredients you are using, so you stay clear of harsh chemicals, perfect for having an all-natural beauty routine!
It’s so simple and easy making natural salt spray! You probably have the ingredient in your kitchen!
What you will need-
- 500ml boiling water
- 2tsp sea salt
- 6 drops of essential oil
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
You can use any essential oil you like, I choose lavender oil, as I love the scent. Lavender oil also has many benefits for your hair. It nourishes and moisturises the hair and scalp giving shine to the hair. I buy all my oils from Naissance as they are of high quality without the big price tag!
My preference is to use coconut oil as it is such a light oil, which doesn’t weigh down your hair while giving so many benefits to your hair. Coconut oil can help protect the hair, tame frizz, nourish and moisturise! You can use any oil what works best for you. Other oils I would recommend is argan oil, macadamia nut oil or avocado oil.
I decanted my salt spray into a 500ml amber glass spray bottle, with a large trigger spray. This is perfect for storing the product and the large trigger spray distributes the products very well onto the hair. Before use, I always shake the product for best results.
